Responsibilities

Internal Designation for this role will be Executive - Design.

  1. Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business analyst, project manager and developers.
  2. Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  3. Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
  4. Developing and maintaining documentation regarding style guidelines.
  5. Improve the look and feel of the product across multiple platforms (Android, iOS and web).
  6. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
  7. Be a constant user advocate, in every aspect of your work.

Qualification & Skills

Mandatory

  1. Proven 1+ year of work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  2. Portfolio of design projects that details strong interaction, thought process and visual design skills.
  3. Proficiency in Photoshop, Figma , HTML5, CSS, Illustrator, Visual Design and Wire-Framing tools.
  4. Deep understanding of typography, layout & composition, information architecture, color theory, fluid grid systems, animation & transitions.
  5. Proven ability to conceptualize from scratch elegant designs to enhance the product experience.
  6. Proactively identifying and seizing the opportunity to propose improvements to existing product design, design tools and the design processes.

Good to Have

  1. Excellent knowledge of web standards, native mobile design systems (iOS and Android), progressive improvements, dynamic content retrieval, and responsive/adaptive design techniques.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Knowledge of Product Analytics tools for UX decisions, AB testing etc.
  4. Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages.
