Sr. IT Business Development Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic person to lead and expand our sales efforts globally. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible not only for achieving business growth targets but also for training, restructuring, and scaling Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global market trends, sales strategies, and the evolving impact of AI in business development.

Responsibilities

  1. Department Leadership: Act as the Head of the Business Development Department, leading strategy, execution, and team expansion plans.
  2. Team Development: Restructure and revamp the current sales team, including training and mentoring for performance optimization.
  3. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Business Development Executives and Managers, including in-office and remote team members.
  4. Global Expansion: Identify and penetrate new international markets; build partnerships and client bases across geographies.
  5. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads, increase revenue, and build strong client relationships.
  6. Market Research & Trends: Conduct deep market analysis and competitor research to inform strategic decisions.
  7. AI-Driven Sales: Stay abreast of AI trends and integrate relevant AI tools and insights to enhance sales processes and forecasting.
  8. New Hiring: Collaborate with leadership to hire additional team members including at least one onsite sales professional for key accounts.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to align offerings with client needs and market demands.
  10. Proven record of exceeding USD100K sales per month for the team.

Qualification & Skills

Mandatory

  1. 10+ years of proven experience in Sales leadership role for IT services, including client acquisition and revenue growth.
  2. Demonstrated success in building and managing sales teams.
  3. Strong understanding of sales tools, CRM systems, and AI-based lead generation/sales technologies.
  4. Familiarity with service delivery models, SLAs, and contract structures for IT services.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Ability to work cross-functionally and lead change initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  8. Ability to bring in own creativity to break the traditional pattern of sales.
  9. Willingness to travel as required.
