Could you introduce yourself and give us a brief overview of your role and responsibilities at Bombay Softwares?

I hold a degree in Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources, with 13 years of experience in the field.

At Bombay Softwares, I am the Lead - HR Business Partner, focusing on aligning people strategies with organizational objectives.

My role encompasses talent acquisition and retention, fostering a positive, growth-driven culture, and implementing strong HR processes to support the company’s success.

What inspired you to pursue a career as a Lead - HRBP, and how did you land at Bombay Softwares?

My engineering background honed my problem-solving skills, but I was drawn to the people-focused aspects of business.

My current role allows me to blend logic with empathy, creating strategies that empower individuals and drive organisational success.

I transitioned to Bombay Softwares from the education sector because I wanted to move into the tech industry - everything around us is tech-driven, and the future is undeniably shaped by technology.

This move allows me to combine my HR skills with the dynamic opportunities in tech, to meet the evolving needs of organizations and their workforce.

The opportunity came through an old colleague, and I’m glad I took it!

What is the most appealing aspect of being part of the Bombay Softwares team?

How do you spend your time outside of work?

Outside of work, I love spending time reading, baking, gardening, and teaching kids.

Recently, I’ve been dedicating extra effort to perfecting my baking skills—aiming to bake like a professional!

Exploring new ideas and learning continuously are what keep me inspired and motivated.
